fan fiction (?)

browsing the internet i stumbled upon something that caught my eye. i read a short entry from some girl in the world. it was fan fictition about some movie i've never seen or heard of. i thought i was interesting that she took the same characters and situations and turned them into something she imagined herself. it made me think of the book. 
i never said that i hated twilight, but i never said that i loved it either, but as a reader i'm getting real annoyed at the fact that the two main characters Edward and Bella have such a longing and desire for each other, and yet neither is willing to do anything about it. i thought i'd give a try at creating my own fan fiction and have the characters act out more on their feelings. i'm not sure if i like calling it "fan" fiction, since i don't support the book or anything associated with it. (ex. the movies, clothes, posters, etc.) for now, i'll just call it my "Twilight Reinvention Experiment" (it sounds so Madonna, i know). i won't hold any punches though. my reinvented characters will say and do what ever it is that's truly on their minds. it may be frowned upon or even hated by die-hard twilight fans, but that's the least of my worries. i'm curious to see if i'm the only person who doesn't want to waste my time reading four books that covers a time span of two years just to find out if Bella sleeps with a vampire.
